About this event

This training school introduces early-career researchers to using Large Language Models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, in the research process. It covers opportunities, challenges, and ethical considerations of applying AI in research. Participants receive hands-on training in data collection and analysis, including connecting to the ChatGPT API in RStudio and performing document and content analysis. The program also explores how LLMs can assist with coding and how to evaluate AI-generated outputs for bias and reliability using manual and automated methods. Activities will be applied to real tasks from AlertHub working groups. The course requires no prior experience and is limited to 15 participants to support interactive learning
